In 1926, an American inventor named William Rowe invented the first
cigarette-vending machine. Soon to follow would by the National
Vendor Corp, U Needa Merchandiser Corp, Du Grenier of Mass and many
others. Cigarette Machines were commonly found in subway stations,
bars and restaurants. Mirrors were used on these machine to attract
women and men to freshen up or fix there hair! Cigarette machines
are great decorator pieces due to their Deco Styling and typically
small size.
