In 1839 the first American Coin Operated machine evolved thru the years others would follow in the late 1800’s Penny Arcades started to appear with such machines as Kinetoscope’s and Phonographs. Soon to follow would be slots and other such gambling devices. By the early 1900’s Arcades were more widely seen with such Machines as Mutoscopes, Boxing Machines and Strength Testers. These machines in today’s marketplace are highly sought after by collectors.
